LMP ACQUISITION SUPPORT
CHALLENGE
The Product Manager for the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Increment needed to develop an Acquisition Strategy to complete the program’s Acquisition Milestones while successfully transitioning the program into the DoD’s Business Capability Lifecycle (BCL) and then into Model 3 of the updated DoD Instruction 5000.02.

SERVICES PROVIDED
ZYGOS supported the Army's LMP as Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the development, staffing, and management of LMP's Milestone documentation under the guidelines and governance of the DoD's Business Capability Lifecycle (BCL) process and DoDI 5000.02.
ZYGOS developed, coordinated, and managed critical program documentation including the Business Case, Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Technical Data Rights Strategy (TDRS), Clinger Cohen Act (CCA) compliance to support the Prototyping Phase of the BCL and progression through the program’s Acquisition Milestones.

RESULT
Through active coordination and management of this documentation with stakeholders across various echelons of Army and DoD, ZYGOS developed effective and efficient strategic acquisition documentation and promoted review activities that reduced the need for re-work, ensured a high level of quality in each of the deliverables, and decreased review and staffing timelines.
