CHALLENGE
The Product Manager Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Increment II required critical help to re-baseline the Increment II program as it had drastically breached cost and schedule without providing the capabilities required by the Army’s Human Resources (HR) community. IPPS-A is the Army's online HR and Pay solution to provide integrated HR and pay capabilities across all three Components of the Army - Active, Reserves, and Army National Guard.

ZYGOS provides critical acquisition and program management support that includes planning acquisition and contracting decision points, building strategic briefings and documentation, creating necessary contracting documentation, leading the operations of the product management office, creating a strategy for tracking and managing the performance of the system.

RESULT
The Product Manager IPPS-A Increment II successfully re-baselined the program within a year of ZYGOS joining the team. In addition, ZYGOS support was key to getting the program’s systems integrator back on track. ZYGOS continues to provide integral strategic support across all aspects of acquisition and program management and is key to the lifecycle operations of the program.
