Mr. Asch has 35 years of proven leadership experience as a Government Civil Servant for the U.S. Army and as a Consultant. His career has included roles as a Contracting Officer, Program Business Office Chief, Project Manager’s Special Assistant, and Government Support Contractor. His experience and knowledge includes contracting, acquisition, and business including requirements definition, source selection, project management, and management of contract cost, schedule, and performance. Mr. Asch has experience with five ACAT I programs and has participated in 18 source selections. He has received numerous awards and recognition including the Secretary of Defense David Packard Award and the Secretary of Defense Productivity & Quality Excellence Award. He holds Defense Acquisition Certification Level III in Contract Management.

Prior to joining ZYGOS, Mr. Asch spent three years as a Government Support Contractor serving as a senior advisor to Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems on programmatic, business, and contracting efforts in all areas of Department of Defense acquisition. His accomplishments included supporting an ACAT I program’s re-allocation and re-negotiations, providing advice and assistance on all matters related to Better Buying Power, and performing as an active member of an Integrated Project Team developing a multi-billion dollar Acquisition Strategy utilizing the DoD Framework for a Services Acquisition.

Mr. Asch is a retired GS-15 Civil Servant with over 31 years of service. His last 13 years were with the U.S. Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). There he provided direction, advice, and support services to a project office team consisting of 155 civilians and contractors, and a lead system integrator team of over 900 personnel from five companies. As Business Office Chief he executed an annual budget of $250 million per Fiscal Year with an overall program budget valued at $2.7 billion.  

Mr. Asch earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Haven. He has been a speaker on numerous topics including: Better Buying Power at the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) World Congress 2013, LMP’s SAP Implementation Lessons Learned at Rutgers, North Carolina, and Villanova Universities, and at Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG) National and Public Sector Conference. Mr. Asch was also a Business Adjunct Instructor at Triton and Brookdale Community Colleges.
