ZYGOS CONSULTING EXPERTS SPEAK AT 2014 NATIONAL CONTRACT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (NCMA) WORLD CONGRESS

On 29 July 2014 ZYGOS' Founder and President Nick Tsiopanas, sharing the stage with Army Contracting Command – Rock Island’s Jessica Dobbeleare, presented to over 100 National Contract Management Association (NCMA) World Congress attendees on Fair Opportunity task order competitions and how the process can create efficiencies when properly streamlined and executed. During their presentation, Mr. Tsiopanas and Ms. Dobbeleare explained the Fair Opportunity process, contrasted it with traditional Source Selection, and provided real world examples of how competitions for orders can be conducted more quickly and effectively.

On 30 July 2014 and for the second year in a row at NCMA’s World Congress, ZYGOS’ Lawrence Asch and Nick Tsiopanas presented the Department of Defense’s Better Buying Power Initiative. The session provided status on Better Buying Power 2.0 and gave innovative thinkers the tools and techniques to help them deliver extraordinary results using Better Buying Power
Initiatives. The session also included a deep dive on Market Research with lessons learned and a clear linkage to how this critical step in the acquisition process lays the foundation for success.
