DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
EOIR COURT & APPEALS
CHALLENGE
The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) had a direct need for an integrated court case management solution to increase the level of service to their end user community.
ACTION
SERVICES PROVIDED
ZYGOS leveraged its proven Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) methodology to conduct a comprehensive assessment of solution alternatives, which included development of a solution Implementation Roadmap.
The study assessed multiple Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) case management systems as well as ancillary systems associated with immigration court requirements. The analysis included market research of viable vendor solutions, facilitation of solution demonstrations, development of a quantitative cost/benefit analysis, functional and technical qualitative analysis, and risk analysis.

RESULT
Based on the results of the AoA, ZYGOS provided a final solution approach recommendation and a high-level Implementation Roadmap. The roadmap provided EOIR with implementation recommendations and strategies, high-level milestones, activities and tasks, an analysis of risks associated with the recommended solution approach, and an assessment of quantitative and qualitative benefits based on the ZYGOS recommended solution.
