NCMA’s premier event for contract management professionals, World Congress 2014 has selected ZYGOS’ thought leaders and acquisition professionals to provide two educational presentations at the flagship conference. The 2014 NCMA World Congress will be held July 27-30, 2014 at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center at National Harbor, Maryland.

ZYGOS' Founder and President, Nick Tsiopanas will be speaking with Army Contracting Command – Rock Island’s Jessica Dobbeleare on the topic of Fair Opportunity task order competitions and how the process can create efficiencies when properly streamlined and executed. Getting Fair Opportunity right is a win-win for Government and Industry that will save time and money without compromising results. During their presentation, Mr. Tsiopanas and Ms. Dobbeleare will explain the Fair Opportunity process, contrast it with traditional Source Selection, and provide real world examples of how competitions for orders can be conducted more quickly and effectively.

For the second year in a row, ZYGOS’ Lawrence Asch and Nick Tsiopanas have been invited to speak on the Department of Defense’s Better Buying Power Initiative. The session will provide a status update on Better Buying Power 2.0 and give innovative thinkers tools and techniques that can help deliver extraordinary results using Better Buying Power Initiatives. The session will also include a deep dive on Market Research with lessons learned and a clear linkage to how this critical step in the acquisition process lays the foundation for success.
